A one day intensive class to create the fitted bodice block, the foundation of many dresses, shirts, jackets and coats. In this class you will learn how to draft a basic block in a standard size, how to take your measurements, draft your size, then paper fit and make a toile. By the end of the day you will have a block from which to draft well fitting tops.

We will also explore dart manipulation and simple adaptations.

You will need some basic pattern making skills, ideally have taken the beginners class, and be able to use a sewing machine.
