We've all got that item of clothing that's very important to us, not for sentimental reasons - it just looks so good or feels just right! And the thought of its lifespan coming to an end fills us with horrific dread and makes your stomach turn inside out. But fear no more! This workshop will teach you different techniques on taking patterns from your favourite items of clothing, without even having to unpick the original, meaning you can copy even that favourite pair of jeans ! Bring along 2-3 garments that you would like to take patterns from.

We will talk about which garments are worth cloning, fabric choices, finding the grain and different methods for copying and altering a fit.

You will also need to invest in a tracing wheel, available from trade me (https://www.trademe.co.nz/crafts/sewing/patterns/other/listing-2931287819.htm?
