Course Description

Container gardening is so similar and yet so different from growing in-ground that it requires its spot in the sun. Come on a crash course in growing plants in pots. Learn everything you need to get started and keep your containers going beautifully. Learn about containers/planters, plants, soil, pests, composting. Our skillful tutor, Paul, ran his own successful container gardening and landscaping business.  

What Will You Gain?

• Choosing best plants to maximise yield
• Potting mixes- organic and inorganic
• Tips and tricks for yield with spring and summer
• Fertilising and pest control

Course Prerequisite Conditions

You will need to bring enthusiasm, a pen, and paper. We will offer a light morning tea.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
