Following on from the Beginner class, students will continue to develop their pattern making skills, using their own blocks or a standard size, to work through designs and styles of their choice. This is a more open style of class, where students can explore their own projects with advice on hand. Possible projects include skirt adaptations, jean, short etc. Teaching of aspects such as dart manipulation and fitting will be explicit and other areas will be covered as the need arises.

This class is suitable for anyone with sewing experience and knowledge of commercial patterns, but will not include making blocks to your size if you don’t already have them.
