Learn how to make your own simple garden furniture using freshly harvested greenwood and seagrass. Willow or Poplar are traditional, but Kaihekatea and Manuka are also good native woods to use. The results are amazing, comfortable, cost effective and environmentally friendly. No prior experienced necessary
On this workshop you will have the option to make a stool, bench or three-slat Ladderback chair. Students are required to bring the wood and will be sent dimensions on enrolment. For ease of working the wood should be harvested, and suitable branches selected and cut to length, as close to the workshop as is practical.
