Course Description
ChatGPT was released in November 2022 and was quickly followed by similar products from the major tech companies; for example Microsoft CoPilot, Google Gemini and Samsung Bixby. All use some variation of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to improve and enhance their customer’s experience.
This course aims to provide a clear definition of what the A.I. tools can, and cannot, do. It will list some of the uses of A.I. today and make an informed guess as to what the future may hold.
What Will You Gain?
Our kaiako/tutor, Allan will cover the below topics:
- Microsoft CoPilot – in Word, automatically create a holiday itinerary, suggest where to buy the products featured in a photo or ‘watch’ what you are writing and suggest improvements on the go.
In Excel, analyse a formula that isn’t working and return step-by-step instructions on how to fix it
- Google Gemini – analyse, classify and summarise large amounts of data – such as an entire book or movie. Chat with Bard – Gemini’s conversational interface that works similarly to ChatGPT.
Create customised, photorealistic images based on a simple text description – which can be good enough to fool judges and win an art competition
- Samsung Bixby – clone your voice to make Bixby sound like you when it reads your texts to a caller. Provide real-time translation while making a phone call to a speaker of a different language. Create a written summary of a phone call along with notes and suggestions for further contact.
