Overlocker class- one day for basics, one day to make a project
We all wear knit fabrics, yet many of us are scared to sew with them. In this course, you will learn about sewing knit fabrics on a domestic sewing machine, using ballpoint needles and special stitches, AND MOSTLY how to get the most out of your overlocker, including different seam finishes, hemming techniques and settings.
The first day we will cover the basics, and the second day you will work on your own project.
You will need to bring your own (working) overlocker to play with, but don’t worry if you don’t have one, there will still be lots to learn. Sewing machines are provided, however you are welcome to BYO.
